About me
Hilda Elizondo, came from México when she was 15 years old. After she graduated from High School in 1990, she attended the University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg Texas .In 1997, she began teaching at RGCGISD. She taught Middle School, Elementary and High school for 24 years were she had several roles: Spanish, bilingual and a folkloric teacher. Presently, she is a bilingual strategist at RGCGISD. She is a firm believer that students need to be motivated by building a strong relationship, emphasizing hard work, and celebrating success. The relationship she builds with her students stresses that hard work results in intrinsic rewards. Mrs. Elizondo helps her students by supporting their learning so that they can meet their goals and work even harder to reach their higher levels. Mrs. Elizondo’s mottos to try to give the best you can give, never give up and never accept being told you cannot. She believes in being positive and respecting the opinions and ideas of others, even if at times, you don’t agree.
